Francisco Federico Raggi Cardenas

Nowadays, he is a titular researcher class D in the Mathematics Institute at the National University of Mexico (UNAM). In 1963 receives the degree of Mathematician, after that, he makes the master studies in the Harvard University. And finally he obtains the doctorate in the Faculty of Sciences at the UNAM, being the specialty of this Mathematics, presenting the titled thesis: ``Las unidades en anillos de grupo'' (``The units in group rings''). His area of interest in this moment is the ring theory.

Apart from his well-known passion by the mathematics, ScD Francisco Raggi has many other diverse interests. Tennis and fronton are some of his favorite sports and he practices them frequently. A great reader and admirer of Jorge Luis Borges, Francisco Raggi enjoys widely the conversations about politics just like the cinema and the nature.
