The database

It is recommended not to modify the database so as to avoid to break its integrity and to offer compatibility with the standard application and thus be able of getting support in a simpler way. Within the programmer's documentation there are the tables and the diagrams entity-relation that will allow the programmer who wishes to extend ScienSe be able of designing correct SQL sentences.

It is necessary to emphasize that we counted with JDBC Tester, a Java Swing application that let you prove JDBC connections and SQL sentences. This tool will make easier the work of extending ScienSe or any other application based on JDBC, to the programmer.
