Understanding the error messages
Different messages of error can appear in the use of ScienSe, in this section we want to explain to you the reasons that explain the why these errors happen, in order to avoid them, when possible, in the future. We present them next:
- ``Author Exist In The Database System'': It means that you are trying to add an author who is already in the database.
- ``This Citation already exist in the database system'': It means that you are trying to add to the database a reference that is already registered.
- ``Other user in the system or htsciense obtaining the articles from the web'': Another user with level of access as administrator, is within the system or htsciense is indexing publications. If you try to accede to the system later, the message surely will be disappeared, in opposite case contact the administrator of the system or if you are the administrator, review the log files.
- ``The automatic index does not exist'': This means that htsciense has not initiated its work or that it has not added more publications from the last time that you made the revision. If this message persists, contact with the system administrator.
- ``The Key Of Author is Invalid'': This happens because in some operation that requires the key of the author you introduced an incorrect value as a empty field or a letter instead of a number. Generally this message only appears if either your browser does not have javascript support or it is deactivated or you want to send an invalid form on purpose, if it is this the last case we invite you to do not to do it.
